WEAR: shorts and a t-shirt with no school or team identifying information

BRING: stick, ball, goggles, mouth guard, turf shoes, and a water bottle. Also, if you feel you might need it, bring along snacks. Cleats are not permitted. 

REGISTRATION: will be held 30 minutes prior to tryout start time.
All participants will be asked to provide uniform sizes.  Check-in will be conducted by Relentless Hustle Board members.  If there are any questions, please direct them to the staff at the registration table, not the coaches.  Players must be on the field ready to begin, at the designated start time

FORMAT: Tryouts will be broken into four parts: warm ups, skill stations, 7v 7 and full field scrimmaging. There will be a break before scrimmages.

TEAM FORMATION & NOTIFICATION: Relentless Hustle will be holding open tryouts for the 2012 season.  Teams are formed based on high school graduating years (i.e., class of 2012). This year Relentless Hustle will have teams for the graduation classes of 2013 through 2021. Players selected for the club will form two teams for graduation classes from 2013-2015 and one team from graduating classes from 2016-2021 unless we have large numbers at these age groups, then additional teams will be added.

Relentless Hustle tryouts are truly open for all players. Players from prior years are not guaranteed a spot on the team. Player selections will be made based on ability and individual skills. Overall talent and player commitment will weigh heavily on player selection. Therefore, in an effort to provide players maximum exposure during tryouts, please do not wear ANY Relentless Hustle Apparel, to ensure coaches have ample opportunities to see all players equally.

Tryout rosters will be formatted by Relentless Hustle board members at the registration table, and provided to the coaches that are evaluating each graduation class. The only information the coaches have on these rosters is piney numbers. This is done in an effort to be as fair as possible with the girls trying out, and eliminate any political overtones that seem to play a part in youth sports.

While all of the coaches help in the evaluation, the head coach of each team and Mr. Harris will be responsible for making the final decisions on team formation and team rosters.

Team rosters will be posted on the website by piney number just like last year. 

ADDITIONAL TRYOUTS: This is the only tryout for Relentless Hustle 2012 season, however if a player is unable to tryout due to an injury, or an emergency comes up, Coaches have the discretion to tryout players during the year, However that will not in any way effect current players on that team.

PLAYER COMMITMENT: Relentless Hustle anticipates a very high demand for roster spots for the 2012 season. As such, we are seeking players who are committed to playing lacrosse for Relentless Hustle. Players are expected to attend practices and tournaments during the summer/fall months. Additionally, fall is a time for other sports, but we do expect our players to participate when there are no school commitments on those days.

Although Relentless Hustle will never be as strict as some other club sports, (Hockey or Soccer) we want players who are committed to their teams and the Club. Lacrosse is a TEAM sport. We understand there are family weddings, religious events, and other commitments that players will have to miss lacrosse to attend. So, these will be viewed as excused absences with prior notice to the coaches. However, playing for other lacrosse clubs, (school teams are fine) is unfair to the coaches and teammates. Additionally, players who are not committed to playing for Relentless Hustle will take up valuable roster spots from players who would love to be part of the team and part of the Relentless Hustle family. Therefore, if you cannot make the commitment to be there, please do not tryout. If a player is unable to make this commitment, she may jeopardize her participation in the Club and position on the team
